A proposed weekend ride, two days out of Labour Day long weekend. This trail has been developed substantially over the last couple of years. It used to terminate at Timboon but now runs all the way to the coast. Technically, it's two trails, the old camperdown to Timboon rail trail and the newly installed '12 Apostles' trail from Timboon to Port Campbell.
Doing it over the weekend makes for a liesurely 60 km each way. There's quite a variety of landscape, farmland, woodland and forest. More about the rail trail here. And about the newly constructed trail here.
